Change party

The deadline for change of party Affiliation Declaration Forms (changing from Republican to Democrat) for Primary Elections is 55 days before the election and are to be filed with Essex County Commissioners of Registration as per N.J.S.A. 19:23-45.

ADA Accessible Voting

If a voter has a disability that prevents them from voting independently on a paper ballot, they may vote on the ADA accessible machine at their assigned polling place.
